Methodology

  1. Each model starts with the maker's product page or manual.
  2. Spec rows are copied exactly as the maker page writes them. A value marked "from product name" comes from the maker's product title on that page.
  3. A model is listed only if its core specs could be sourced.
  4. Measured figures come only from named independent tests. At the moment, that means the usable AC energy table from OutdoorGearLab and a YouTube test by Watt's Next? (@WattsNextSolar25). A measured figure always sits beside the rated one.
  5. Prices are read from a retailer or maker page and shown with the date they were read. Prices change, so check the store before you buy.
  6. A spec that can't be sourced is left out. Nothing is estimated.

Calculator results are estimates, built on the listed specs and the simple loss factors shown on the calculator page.

See the source registry for every page used.
